Unprice

Money is broken. Here's the fix.

A global movement to transition humanity beyond the monetary system. As AI and robotics reach the point where they can provide every fundamental need, the concept of “price” becomes the barrier — not the solution.

The Problem

A robot can build a house. Why can't you afford one?
We produce enough food for 10 billion people. 800 million go hungry.
A drill is used for 13 minutes in its lifetime. We manufactured 50 million of them last year.
US national debt: $36 trillion. Global debt: $300 trillion. Where did this money come from?

What We Believe

1

When a robot can do the work, the product of that work belongs to everyone.

2

Access to the basics — food, shelter, healthcare, education, transit — is not a reward for economic productivity. It is the baseline of a civilized society.

3

Any system of credits, tokens, or points that can be saved, hoarded, or transferred will eventually become money again. We reject half-measures.

4

Human purpose comes from curiosity, creativity, care, and craft — not from the coercion of needing to pay rent.

5

This transition must be voluntary, transparent, democratic, and global. No one gets left behind. No one gets forced in.

Imagine

Imagine no one sleeps on the street.

Not because we solved homelessness with charity — but because a 3D-printed house costs $10,000 in materials and a robot builds it in 24 hours. ICON has already built entire neighborhoods this way. The technology to house everyone exists today.

Imagine no one skips a meal.

Not because food banks got more donations — but because vertical farms grow food year-round in any climate, using 95% less water. We produce enough food for 10 billion people right now. Automated harvesting and AI-optimized growing can feed every human being on Earth.

Imagine no one dies because they can't afford a doctor.

Not because insurance got cheaper — but because AI diagnostics outperform human doctors in dozens of specialties. Robotic surgery operates with precision no human hand can match. The barrier is a billing system, not a medical one.

Imagine the lights never go out.

Not because the energy company fixed the grid — but because solar is the cheapest energy source in human history. The sun delivers more energy to Earth in one hour than humanity uses in a year. We just need to stop selling it.

Imagine you wake up tomorrow and choose what to do with your day.

Not because you won the lottery — but because the concept of “earning a living” is as outdated as “earning the right to breathe.” Open-source developers built Linux, Wikipedia, and most of the internet — not for money, but because they wanted to.
